金屬硬密封球閥的設計主要用於嚴峻的工作環境，例如高溫或流體中含有堅硬的顆粒或纖維。 HVOF (High Velocity Oxy-Fuel =高速火焰熔射) 可以提供各種硬質表面材料，例如碳化鎢，鈷，鉻碳化物，以適應各種不同工況。除HVOF之外，我們還可以提供鍍鉻處理或表面噴焊。

單向或雙向止漏?

對於浮動球設計的球閥，其優勢是透過流體的壓力，能提供較好的密封能力。但反面來說, 在壓力下因球與硬質球墊磨擦反而會產生較高的操作扭力。

為避免操作扭力過大問題，客戶需要遵循陸功的金屬球墊球閥選型指南文件，以確保球閥在建議的壓差內操作。如果壓差超過建議的壓力，則操作扭力可能會過高，然後損壞中軸或球塞溝槽。

適用 500°C 的流體和工作環境

高溫球閥

由於不含塑化密封填料如 PTFE 鐵氟龍或O型環 (O-ring), 密封材料改以石墨或焊接方式完成，高溫閥門適用於500°C 以下的高溫流體或於高溫工作環境中使用。

常見的高溫蒸汽或熱媒油等都是此類閥門方便好用的選擇。
